You are invited to attend the OSHA 2018 Annual Conference this year in Salem. As you will see from the brochure, we not only feature national speakers on Friday, but also a number of individuals from around the state will give presentations or posters both Friday and Saturday. Many thanks go to the practicing clinicians and students who are offering their time and energy in presenting this year.

With our theme, Strength in Collaboration, we have several special changes to our usual lineup.  Here are some highlights:

  • Opening Session:  Friday, 8:00-9:00 am.  The conference will open with a plenary session featuring Allyson Goodwyn-Craine. She will share her observations and experience in building effective multidisciplinary teams.  This session will provide attendees one hour of continuing education (0.10 CEU).
  • Friday Morning and Afternoon Sessions.   Five concurrent sessions start at 9:15 a.m.  Five more concurrent sessions follow lunch.  Each session provides attendees with 2.5 hours of continuing education (0.25 CEU).
  • Awards and Business Meeting:  Friday lunch.
  • Poster Sessions: Friday, 4:45 - 6:15 pm.  Twenty poster sessions will be available on Friday afternoon, offering a diverse selection of  cutting-edge research.  Attendees can earn up to a maximum of 1.5 hours of continuing education (0.15 CEU) for attending six 15-minute sessions (minimum attendance required is two 15-minute sessions to earn 0.5 hours of continuing education or 0.05 CEU).
  • Documentary Screening and Director Q&A:  Friday evening.  Join us for a free screening of  “Camp,” Friday evening at 7:00.  This heartwarming documentary is about Camp Yakety Yak and how it has changed the lives of children dealing with speech and language challenges!
  • Saturday Morning and Afternoon Sessions. The morning starts at 8:00 with six concurrent sessions, each offering 3.0 hours of continuing education (0.30 CEU).  After lunch, six concurrent sessions run from 12:45 to 2:15, and six more concurrent sessions are offered from 2:30 to 4:00 pm.  Each of the afternoon sessions provides 1.5 hours of continuing education (0.15 CEU).
