Description: Oregon Health & Science University’s NW Clinic for Voice & Swallowing Disorders in association with the Oregon Speech-Language & Hearing Association presents a Conference for Speech-Language Pathologists, health professionals, laryngectomees & their families on rehabilitation after laryngectomy. The faculty includes physicians, speech pathologists and other professionals from Oregon Health & Science University and throughout the the Pacific Northwest with specialty expertise in the area of laryngectomy rehabilitation.
In addition to the all-day general conference on Saturday 9/27 there is also a half-day hands-on TEP training course for professionals on Friday 9/26. This course is offered for .95 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate level, Professional Area).
Registration:
• Attendance is free to those who have undergone a total laryngectomy, but spaces are limited and pre-registration is required.
• There is an “early bird” discount for registrations received prior to 9/1 and there is also a discounted registration rate for students.
