Features advanced techniques for assessment and placement of a no-leak speaking valve inline with mechanical ventilation, including review of ventilator settings and best practice procedures for use and alarm management. Therapy techniques for dysphagia and speech, impact on mobility, infection control and weaning will be discussed. Case studies, hands on sessions, videos, and group discussion.
